How does AddiDrive™ CreepDrive operate?

The vehicle features two independent transmission types: hydrostatic and mechanical. Shifting from one to another is simply done by activating a switch. The mechanical transmission is naturally used for travelling on the road, while its hydraulic counterpart is used for work. In the latter the mechanical brakes are spared as hydrostatic brakes are sufficient to stop the vehicle.

The CDM170-050 motor is at the heart of the system. Mechanically linked to the transmission shaft at its input and output, it is placed between the transmission and the differential. Light and compact package, it can fit every type of transmission brand. Moreover, it eases the remote control of the machine.

At low speed the electronic control takes care of starting the vehicle smoothly, cruise control and safe braking. This frees the driver’s attention from the driving functions and allows him to focus on the quality of his work.
